Maya Levy has been pursing
research related to diabetes management and treatment, as well as biomedical
engineering revolving around diabetes care. She has been working on research in
the field of diabetes treatment for five years, and has won multiple awards for
her research including 4th place in the Biomedical and Health Sciences at the International
Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) twice, and 3rd place (Seniors) in the Medicine and Health at the Florida State Science
and Engineering Fair (SSEF). She is currently at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (so cold!), pursing her degree in biological engineering.
She is also an avid reader, artist (see website background), and
loves to study everything science, engineering, and math. Maya developed a website to post her
illustrated notes, along with tips and tricks she has
learned from experience undergoing such classes and tests. Navigate the website
and check out her science fair projects, Health & Diabetes Awareness Ambassador Program,
and published papers either by clicking on the
